What we've been up to...

Okay, okay I'm a slacker. I need to get on here and write more but I honestly don't know where my time has gone. Ty is 7 weeks and a day now. I cannot believe it at all. I'll be going back to work for 3 day weeks beginning Sept. 16th, and then after three weeks of that it'll be back to full time. I'm sure that'll be an interesting change for me...but I'll address that when the time comes.
We're heading to Louisville this weekend for the UL/UK game. My brother-in-law Brian and Ethan bought him a bunch of UK stuff (crap is what I really call it) however I am Ty's wardrobe coordinator so he'll be wearing UL stuff for sure.
Speaking of wardrobe, Ty still can't wear anything with a waist on it! I try about every other day and they just fall right off of him. He has so many cute summer outfits that I guess he'll just wear in October with a jacket because I'm bound and determined to dress him up! We should be getting some new pictures we had done (well, when he was 2 weeks old) soon. They were precious (yes, we are partial) and I can't wait to see them.
Hmmmm....I guess that's it for now. I'm going to pack Ty's bag for the weekend. I'm so excited to get home...to visit Ethan, go to the pool, of course a little shopping, visit with the fam, a cookout at Karrie's and I get to see her new engagement ring, and then tailgating and the Cards game. I'll write back sooner with pic's attached. Promise!

The BIG cousin!

This is Ty Baby and Ethan. He is the best "Big Cousin" ever. He kisses Ty, he wants to hold him, he wants to take pictures of him, and he wants to get every toy he sees for him. He even named a stuffed animal after him! When we were at their house the other night, Ethan brought out his blankies. He also head-butted him, but was an "accicident" when he jumped on the couch too fast to sit by Uncle Pop feeding Ty. Ethan has so much love and spark and excitement in his personality. Ty's lucky to have a BIG cousin to look up to like Ethan.

Oh what joys the Boys have brought us!

Ty Baby is 1 month old!!!

My goodness time has flown by. He's started to fill out a little, he's found that my necklace can also serve as a handle to help pull himself up, and his hands are still by his face all the time. There is a little personality coming out in him...and of course when he cries he looks like Todd! No really, he looks EXACTLY like Todd all the time. All that work I did and he gets my hands and my lips! We stare at him and hold him all the time. He's started to make grunting sounds and he even passes gas like a man!!! He's a little cuddle bug and whoever says you can't spoil a baby is wrong. You can, but we like it! He's almost getting too long for some newborn footed sleepers. For some reason that makes me sad. I know it means he's healthy and that's what is supposed to happen, but I just can't believe time is going so quick. When I go back to work and reality sets in I can't imagine how much quicker time will go by.
On that note, today we're going on a walk in the park. We're moving on to bigger and better things. The neighborhood is old news now. I'll be the mom taking pictures and talking to the sleeping baby. And, I don't really care how crazy people think I am. I'm going to spoil my baby as much as a I can for now. These days won't last forever I know, so I'm going to enjoy them while I can!
