Yes, it’s our new house! We’re closing on Thursday. We’re going to Florida Saturday, returning the following Saturday and also moving and shaking that day. It’s definitely been a whirlwind as this all happened during baseball season which as most of you know is a pretty lonesome season around our home. Anyhow, thank goodness for Nana and Pop because they have came to the rescue to get Ty off my hip and occupied so that I can actually get some packing done. Don't get me wrong...I LOVE MY WEEKENDS and having him all day. I just don't have enough hands to do that and pack boxes. He lives in his door jumper, exersaucer, bumbo seat, bouncy seat, play mat, and the 18,307 toys that I surround him with. However, he just wants to sit on Mama's hip. He's such a little ladies man!So, Florida is coming up and we shall see how relaxing a vaca with a baby is. Well, maybe I should say a vaca with 35 college guys because they tend to cause more trouble than Ty could at this age. This will be an experiment to say the least. I'm sending Todd and the team bus w/ Ty's belongings (they may be pulling a u-haul :). I'm flying with Ty Babes and it's on a flight out of the big city of Owensboro. Please say a prayer that we make it. It's a direct flight (how wonderful is that?) to Orlando, and then we're driving about 30 minutes to Winter Haven. It's not on the beach, but it's warm. And, I'm off work. And, there will be shopping...at least better shopping than what I have surrounding me now. Did I mention I'm off work?
Ty is officially a Mama's boy. I could cuddle with him for hours...even if his 7.5 month old legs dangle across my lap. He's so curious nowadays. In his mind, the remote and our cell phones should be in his hands at all times. He seriously freaks out if he can't hold them. Of course, he calls people (sorry if it was you) and does things to the remote that Mama can't figure out so hiding these gadgets has become a daily ritual of ours. He is eating his #2 foods now...mostly organic :), and he LOVE LOVE LOVES his apple juice. He burps and farts like a man (Todd's pretty proud of that) and he laughs and smiles 90% of the time. He's a roly-poly (meaning he rolls all over the place) and he's sitting up pretty good now. His door jumper keeps him entertained when his exersaucer doesn't, and his bouncer seat is pretty close to the floor (only 1 more pound until he hits the weight limit). His flat/bald spot on the back of his head is getting better and there are little fuzzy's back there now. No new words, but definitely more babbling and trying to say new things. The only 2 he'll get out that we can decipher are still "Da-Da" and "Bye-Bye". When we say "no-no" he laughs and shakes his head back and forth which of course is the cutest thing EVER.
Enough bragging. I just can't help it. Back to packing I go...then to FL, then the new house. I have the pic's, I just haven't posted. I need to get better at that!
