OshKosh By Gosh

Mimi just had to get this little overall outfit for Ty Babes. I must agree...he looks pretty stinking cute. See...

Told you so. I mean, Todd and I are a little biased. This little high chair of his rolls everywhere with us. It's a good thing our bedroom in the new house is on the same level as the kitchen. He wants to see Todd and I 100% of the time. He'd really rather be in our arms or sitting in our lap, but he's grown to love the high chair. How cute does he look here...

And here...

This little handsome fella watches me get ready everyday. I don't think I can tell you the last time I took a shower without an audience. The girls at work laugh at me because they say the same thing about their kiddos. I guess that will be inappropriate one day, but for now what choice do I have!?!
Okay, so back to the OshKosh overalls. I had these OshKosh overalls when I was younger that I called my "OshKosh By Gosh" overalls. I LOVED them. As in I wanted to wear them everyday. Mimi thought Ty Babes needed his own overalls too and I love them! She did pretty good picking them out! This outfit cracks me up. Not only does the turquois make his eyes look even blue-r, it makes him look so...well...like a big boy. Correct me if I'm wrong, but seriously...

This is him digging in the mail. Each day Ty goes through our mail and pretty much demolishes it. He gets great pleasure in shredding, crumbling, and slobbering all over the junk mail. We have enough toys around here for a small army, yet Ty wants papers, magazines, and remotes. Just thought I would share these pictures before bathtime. He LOVES his water. Bye-Bye (yes, Ty can say it and he also added Doggie to his vocab yesterday!).

9.5 Month Stats

It's kind of hard to believe that this picture was taken when Ty was 20 pounds less than he is now. He was born at 6 lbs 12oz. Oh how Mama's little boy has grown...
Height 30.25 inches 94%
Weight 26.12 lbs. 99% - he was naked this time…not last time
Head 99% (Todd called that the Eddie factor..but I think he needs to look in the mirror!!!)
No shots, a toe prick that he didn't even know he got! He laughed and did his flirty smile w/ the nurses and Dr. Ray. His ears look fine and that's how he goes to bed at night (rubbing his ear and pulling his hair on the left side).
Now Mommy's debating the first haircut. He's overdue...but that's going to make him look all grown up. I'm not sure I'm emotionally ready for this milestone. Todd thinks I'm such a goober, but I'm seriously going to bed at night debating this. What if he gets pricked by those scissors? Hmmmm....oh, what shall I do?

Super Ty

It’s a bird. It’s a plane. It’s SUPER TY!!!

This is the little man. Wait a minute. He’s not so little! He’s in 24 month/2t clothing and he’s only 9 months! In this picture he’s standing up with the help of his music table. This table is teaching Todd and myself quite a bit of Spanish too! His legs are getting stronger and not bending so much when he stands, but he’s still quite a ways away from walking. He’s still crawling backwards, and reaching for EVERYTHING he shouldn’t have. Today he said “ba-ba” when he was ready for his night-night bottle. It seems he’s doing something new each day.
Let’s see…his vocabulary right now consists of:
Dada
Bye Bye
Mama
Duce (juice)
LaLa (sitter's daughter)
Ba-Ba (bottle)
There are some other words but we can’t quite figure them out. He LOVES to mock what anyone is doing. He grunts and squeezes his hands like the hulk and that always gives us (and him) and good laugh. Oh, and bathtime. This child is so going to be a water baby. He LOVES it! We’re awaiting the swim lesson schedule for summer because we plan on spending our weekends in the water!
Tomorrow is his 9 month check-up (2 weeks late). I’m curious to find out what he weighs and his height. Daddy’s going to take him so I don’t have to take off work (kind of sad if you ask me that a Mommy can’t take her child) but anyhow.
Baseball lasts 2 more weeks and then Daddy will be with us A LOT more! We really miss him and are ready to enjoy the weather and our nights and weekends together as a family. I’ve been working on some projects and I’m ready to dive-in…maybe some more of that will come later! One project that is really fun is planning Ty’s 1st birthday party. It’s going to be and All-American Baseball theme because he’s our #1! In the meantime…here are some more picture of Big Boy from the i-phone…Ty’s favorite toy!

And of course this one is my favorite...Mommy's Boys.

Almost 9 months...

I'm going to start by letting out a big laugh. My life seems to be one big unorganized mess of chaos. At least I get to see a smiling baby when I get home each night...
Oh my goodness that face is hard to leave each morning. Mornings are the best. He's a cuddle bug (well he's one of those all the time), he talks more than he does all day, and he laughs louder in the mornings. And then we leave him and go to work. Isn't like great. Grrrr....

Anyhow, let's see. Ty will be 9 months on the 9th. Yeah, I know. Those were the fastest 9 months of my life! He's crawling (backwards and in circles like a champ), he's talking (finally said Mama and 8 months), he waves "bye-bye", he knows what "no-no" means and laughs and shakes his head back at us. He's eating 3 foods, but he's loving real applesauce, bananas, crackers, teething crackers, all the gerber graduate snacks, and bites of soft things Mommy and Daddy eat. He also likes his "duce". He has duce once a day, usually with supper...but wants it all day everyday!

His favorite toys are remotes and cell's. And, since we have more remotes than the Samsung factory he's in heaven. He's really good at playing with the remote and Mommy doesn't know how to fix it so I end up watching a frozen screen until Daddy gets home. Good times.
Okay, night-night time. Mama's worn out and has to work tomorrow. I'm trying to find out if I live to work or work to live these days. The financial industry in 2009. Yeah...bah-humbug!
