Weight Check-Ace Man

*Ty Holding Ace (Ace is 3.5 weeks)*

Ace is doing a study with PediaResearch for 9 months.  We went at 11 days, we went today (3.5 weeks) and we'll go now every month until he's 9 months.  Each visit, they check his weight, length, and head measurement.  Today...drumroll please...he was 8 lbs. 11 oz.  Yes, that's ALMOST 2 lbs. from his birth weight (6 lbs. 13 oz.).  And, he's also 21 and a half inches long.  (He was 20 and a half 2 weeks ago which they have decided that the hospital measurement of 18 3/4 inches was incorrect because he's getting longer reaaaaly fast!)  Anyhow, because we're doing this study, we get formula for the 9 months (!$!$!$!$$!$!$!), 3 packs of diapers each visit (only the 20 packs but hey, it's FREE diapers) AND and $25 gift card each visit.  All we have to do is
A.) feed him the formula
B.) show up for the appointments
and, C.) keep a 2 page questionnaire for 2 days prior to each visit

I'll admit I was hesitant at first because I thought it may be...ummm...well, kind of sketchy?  But, it's not.  It's nice, clean, and normal.  And, the people there are so nice and sweet!  There's no waiting in the lobby (yeah, so very unlike a REAL Dr.'s office) and the visits last all but about 10 minutes.
So, anyway, Ace Man has almost graduated into #1 diapers and 0-3 month clothes.  Congrats my man!

*We also had his newborn photos taken this week...we are SUPER excited to view them but it'll be a couple of weeks :(
