Y3W: 5 Year Anniversary

5 years ago today, we said "I DO". 
We were surrounded by our family and our friends...all of them there to celebrate "us".  We were engaged on 5.25.2006 and married 11.25.2006.  And, we have pictures to prove it:


Yes, we saw each other before the wedding.  All pictures were done before the wedding except 1.  We had a party to get to!

On a more serious note...the song during the candle needs to be quick.  Todd and I dont' "do quiet" time good.  We just cracked up at each other the entire time!

Yes I made Todd take dance lessons and we danced to "I've Had the Time of my Life".  He loved those dance lessons...lol!

2 kids and our forever home later, here we are.  We both wished we would have gone out that night with our bridal party and friends.  We hear they had an EXCELLENT time ;) 
Last night we watched our wedding video and Ty said, "Mama, you're a princess".  Then he followed it with "can I have some skittles". 
It's so funny to look at these pictures and know that at that time, we had know idea what would happen in 5 years.  Now, here we are.  And, I've had the time of my life.  Literally.
