| Ace 18 months, Ty 3. Photo taken by Little Things in Rockport, IN. |
Ty just hopped right up on his lap after writing a letter to Santa as we waited our turn. Ace was NOT having it. He stopped crying as soon as he was back in our arms. Ace is all "get the hairy dude off me" and Ty's like "Dude, bring me a bike and more cars and...".
Funny stories:
Our last name is a mouthful. Lillpop, pronouced just as it's spelled. Someone pronounces it wrong everyday. Teaching a 3 year old the correct way to pronouce their name goes something like this...
(in the car, Ace called Ty "Bubby")
Ty: Acey, my name is Ty Cannon Little-pop
Me; Ty, your name is Ty Cannon Lill-pop. Say it out loud. Lill. Pop.
Ty: But Mama, I am Ty Cannon Big Pop.
Now you know why my boys names are 2 and 3 letters. Short, simple, and no one will screw them up!
And, then after we began making reindeer food for Ty's class he got all chatter-box (but, what else is new?). I asked him what he wanted to get his teachers. He said, "Well, their girls. I guess Princess Toys."
He's really into telling me that I'm a Princess these days. He loves his little girlfriend at school...and tells us that she's a princess all the time. I hope he treats his girlfriends and wife like a Princess when that time comes!
Ace now corrects us when we call him "Ty" (accidently). What? You don't call your kiddos the wrong name every now and then? He just looks at us with his little teethy grin and says "Aceeeeeeeeeeey".
Ace also picks his nose and shares boogers. And, he also takes his diaper off and runs. He likes to hide under beds and in closets. Dark hiding spots do not scare him AT ALL. Toilet water? LOVES IT. Gross, right?
These boys keep us on our toes, and LAUGHING. Just the way we like it!

Hahaha that picture is cute. It is sad but I would laugh too - you're not a bad mom!
