Y3W: All About Acey

Yep, we still call him Acey.  And, “Boo-Boo”.  Or, just “Boo”.  Not sure why…it just stuck.

Dude Smiles with all he's got!

He’s wearing 3t’s, size 5 diapers, 7.5 shoes, and I guess we’ll find accurate height/weight measurements at his 2 year check up appt.  ::GASP::  2 year check up?!?!?!?  Yes, that will be in May.  Along with his 2 year old photo session with Kate.  O.M.G.

It’s hard to believe he’s 20 months old.  No really.  Say it with me…”if you think time goes fast now, just have some babies”.  Whoever made that line up…they weren’t lying!

Vocab.  Let’s just say Acey’s vocab has exploded in recent months.  He’s always been a talker—even with his pacy (yep, still loves “papy”).  But, recently it’s turned more into more of a conversation-like type of vocabulary.  He is signing like crazy and we’re really trying to force him to sign (we’re in level 2 sign language classes now).

Eating—Ace will eat everything except mac-and-cheese.  I know…who DOESN’T like mac-and-cheese?  Well, my 2 boys refuse to eat it. 

Adjectives to describe our baby boy:  spunky, determined, a “ham”, tough, strong-willed, cuddle-bug, engineer-ish (maybe it’s not a word but he LOVES to play legos and to take things apart!), and a charmer.

Acey and Mama at Ty's basketball games.  Ace doesn't understand that he's not 3 yet.  He's a little go-getter and will get in line with the big boys and not think twice about it! 

He LOVES his teachers…Ms. Mandie (Manneeee) is his favorite still.  She was his nursery teacher and she still comes to his room to get kisses every day.  He loves books.  He loves to sing and dance.  He loves to learn.

And…it’s Birthday planning time.  His Birthday is in May, but we’re going to party in June.  We’re crazy like that!  No really, our schedule is crazy so we’re going to simplify life and have it in June.  Pinterest has exploded my mind this year…and we’re going with vintage airplanes.  ACE Airlines will be presenting a Kindermusik Birthday party!  Sweet Jesus, I can’t wait for this party.
